Who are we?

Over 40 years, I developed skills through my experiences that can help non-profit and community leaders improve their organizations. I have worked with dozens of consultants and hundreds of industry professionals and know that when it is needed, I can bring together groups of like-minded consultants and firms who work as a seamless team to help leaders realize their dreams.

I am also incredibly fortunate to be part of the Next Generation Consulting team and to be working with world-renowned futurist and economist Rebecca Ryan helping communities, regions, and companies realize plausible visions of the future.

What do we do?

Catalytic change is what this firm is all about. If change is needed, my experiences show that the outcome is always better when one is the catalyst for change rather than the target.

What do we believe?

We believe that organizations can be set up for success with the appropriate structure, funding, and long-term vision.

We believe that organizations and businesses can be managed to respond to disruptions to their business model, or they can minimize disruptions by developing a plausible vision and becoming a disruptor.

We believe that communities and regions can develop and organize around a vision of what will be best for their citizens in the future.

Why trust us?

My career as a leader of Economic Development Organizations and Chambers of Commerce has taken me from small rural communities to one of the 40 largest communities in the country. From a small start-up economic development organization to one of the nation's largest, most successful chambers of commerce. In every case, those communities experienced change brought about by political, corporate, or economic shifts and, in many instances, natural disasters. I can share lessons learned from these experiences.

This career path has put me in front of some of the giants of industry and politics. I have learned from some of the best thinkers and doers in the business and political world. I have served on national, regional, and local community organizations' boards of directors. I know what works and what doesn't.
